The price can't be beat. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was just OK but since it's free, it's not a big deal. The staff are very young and offer no customer service whatsoever; saying "Hello" was even too much for them.

This little community was down the road from Fort Drum.
This little community was down the road from Fort Drum. We ate in downtown Carthage at a little diner for a great breakfast (be warned cash or check only). Two doors down from the diner was a pizza parlor/ Italian restaurant it had delicious food and great servicel. There is a McDonalds, Subway and Dunkin Donuts for fast food enthusiasts. Over all a very pleasant stay and a nice community. We don't have young children anymore, but the town has Black River running through the downtown and there is a great fishing and boating area.
